3 Years ago, while living in San Pedro, I over heard many tourist asking locals what they can do in town that is not tourist trap or expensive tours. They wanted to go where the locals go, eat where we eat and hang where we hang, they wanted to experience Belize authentically.

Witnessing travelers struggling to find local insights, the best activities and places to explore; we got inspired to create a guide that would simplify the Belizean escapades. Our little project quickly grew into a passion for my team and me. I moved back to San Ignacio and continued my journey there.

Fast forward to today, Authentically Belize has blossomed from a one-person venture into a small vibrant team. With your unwavering support, we now have a combined average of 20k+ followers combined across all major platforms, and we’re only getting started! We pour our hearts into content creation, continuously seeking growth and improvement. Together, we’re committed to bringing global awareness to the abundance of talent and beauty that Belize holds.
